Rug Cleaning Process

- Pick Up – Our rug cleaning process begins when we pick up your area rug. During pickup, we perform an initial visual inspection to identify any visible wear, damage, or areas that may require special attention.
- Inspection and Testing – Once your rug arrives at our rug cleaning facility, we complete a more detailed inspection and perform testing when appropriate to help determine the most suitable cleaning approach for the rug’s materials and condition.
- Pre-Treatment – Prior to cleaning, we may apply cleaning solutions to spots or heavily soiled areas of the rug based on the rug type and condition. Learn more about spot and stain care.
- Submersion Cleaning – Depending on the rug type and cleaning needs, the rug may be cleaned using a submersion washing process.
- Area Rug Cleaning – Cleaning solutions are applied to the rug and both sides may be cleaned as part of the process to help address dirt, dust, and general soiling.
- Rinsing – The rug is rinsed with clean water to help remove cleaning solutions and loosened debris from the rug fibers.
- Drying – After cleaning, the rug is placed on a drying platform and may also be hung on drying racks to complete the drying process. Drying times can vary depending on the rug material and environmental conditions.
- Post-Inspection – Following cleaning and drying, our team performs a final inspection before preparing the rug for return delivery.
- Delivery – We will return your rug to your home once the cleaning process is complete.
